Vicky and Chloe were looking for a professional photographer in London to capture some portraits for their publicity and fun.
They had a lot of ideas and we exchanged several emails with inspiration references as well as talking and discussing shoot concepts.
The for these personal branding portraits we used natural light. Soft, diffused natural light can create flattering portraits and headshot photography, giving a soft and pleasant effect which looks appealing you natural at the same time.
There’s always a question of where to shoot as the process of transforming ideas into production takes place. What I love about photoshoots is that you get more than what you planned and new ideas you never originally thought of present themselves. We chose black and white for the photo below to emphasise the shapes and forms in the image. Taken the colour away from photographs can help focus the viewer’s attention on details we overlook with the plain eye.
This sofa shot was one of Vicky and Chloe’s ideas and it took some time to get right, but once it was right they both looked stunning!
Jumping shots are not easy to pull off wearing high heels (so I am told), but it’s was easy for this power duo. Fast shutter speed helps freeze the action and movement in this photograph.
We ended the photo session with some yoga photography in their studio. Getting professional photography for yoga, pilates and other wellbeing activities is a great way to reach out to audiences on social media and through your website. It can help you stand out, connect with users and showcase your work.
I hope you’ve enjoyed these photographs. If you would like to discuss any upcoming photography project or personal shoots get in touch to book a photographer and tell me about your ideas.
