Having started as a professional Photographer in 2011 as an Ice Hockey Photographer & being prepared to capture things in the blink of an eye. Moving to Wedding Photography in 2014 was a daunting feeling. Although the transition was much easier that you would expect.
However here we are coming up to my 10-year anniversary as a Wedding Photographer & I still have that buzz & excitement of capturing your big day. Based in Southend-On-Sea Essex, I cover all the UK & beyond.
It is going to be the biggest and best day of your life and my job is to capture those real, candid and authentic moments that truly tell the story of your day.
So, what is it like to have me photograph your big day?
I am a big believer in trying to make your day as stress free as possible, I work closely with you in the build-up to the big day, making sure to know and understand the style you require so as to be fully prepared to capture those fleeting moments and turn them into meaningful memories that will last a lifetime.
On the day I will work with your wedding venue to make sure that behind the scenes everything runs smoothly, so you can relax into having the day of your dreams. Plus, you also get an expert wedding dress train carrier. (I have done this for every bride I have worked with when moving shoot locations!)
As for my photography style, I like a nice, relaxed and unobtrusive approach capturing those moments of fun you may have missed, as well as the all-important posed photos that will take pride of place on your walls (both physical and the social media variety!)
Without a doubt, my biggest thrill is going through your galleries with you for the first time & watching your faces light up & follow the full range of emotions as you relive your day.
As for events, the Brief is simple – capture everything from the big important “on brief” moments, to the impromptu bits that people would otherwise have missed. If I am capturing your event, I want to allow you & your guests the opportunity to relive that event for years to come as well as give people who didn’t attend that feeling that they REALLY missed out on something special to ensure that they want to be there next time around. Having worked with Local, National & International companies capturing events, rest assured, you will get images that will encapsulate the day to perfection.
Enough about Business… What About me?
Well, I am now in that 40+ age bracket, living with my Partner Tanya just outside Southend in Essex, I have 3 Children of my own, 2 Stepchildren, (ranging from 13-27) 2 dogs (one with us one living with my kids) 1 cat & 6 fish!
When not chasing Brides or capturing events. I have a Passion for classic race cars which annually draws me to the mecca of Classic car racing – the Iconic Goodwood Motor Circuit for The Goodwood Revival each September.
