Tuncsel Ulku, works as an independent advertising photography and videography artist based in London. He has been operating his own business IMAGO since 2009. He has a wide portfolio of photography and promotional films in the fields of food, gastronomy, interior, products, pack-shots, jewellery, portraits and fashion images.
He was born and raised in Istanbul. He got education in engineering however his passion for photography led him to quit his engineering career. He continued his education by taking design education.
He started photography by shooting for magazines. He developed his skills while filming for magazines in different categories. He shot for magazines such as Elle, Elle Decor, Formsante, Homes & Gardens, Gusto, Taste, Maison Francois.
He shifted her career to advertising photography and videography. He shot advertisements for brands such as Audi, Zipcar, Caterpiller, Petronas, Mobil, Beko, Grundig, OralB, Absolut, Jim Beam, La Vache Qui Rit for global advertising agencies.
He lives in London with his wife. When he's not glued to his camera or laptop, you’ll find him playing or listening 80s hard rock music and snowboarding in winters.
