Hello, I'm Steve, I've been a photographer for over 20 years. I have been employed as a professional photographer working in News and PR, an ENG Video Camera Operator, and a Photographis trainer during my career. I have worked all over the world and have images and videos published in National and International newspapers and on TV. As fun as that is, getting images printed in a magazine or paper, it's never been my driver. I am much happier to see a client over the moon with their images. Especially when printed and framed on their walls at home or work. The is much more pleasing.
Throughout my time as a photographer, I have always enjoyed capturing portraits of people, whether at home or at work, such as environmental portraits. I enjoy the challenge in these and the variety of backgrounds or locations they bring. SO, whether I'm covering a VIP visit or other event, I always spot opportunities to capture portraits of individuals at these events, showcasing the part they play. I feel this is important, as our people are our biggest assets. So it's important to capture them and make them feel a part of the organisation. This is also a challenge as many people don't want to be photographed, so being able to talk to people and convince them to take part is another part of the challenge I enjoy.
I have been privileged to have worked with London's top press photographers from agencies such as Getty Images, PA, Reuters etc, and learnt a lot from them. I have been on the Red Carpets of Leicester Square Movie Premieres, photographed the Royal Family regularly, in and around the Royal Palaces, worked in 10 Downing Street, Westminster, and photographed VIPs such as President Obama and countless A-list celebrities. These types of events require extreme professionalism and confidentiality where required.
If you have an event you would like captured, professional portraiture, corporate headshots or images for a feature, then feel free to drop me a message.
