I am a photographer with over 20 years of experience working around the globe in News and PR photography, before setting up a studio and providing photographic training. Of all the genres of photography I have shot, I have a love of portrait photography and family portraits. These can be very challenging with more than one person in the shot, especially when the children don’t want to play ball. Although 47 years old, I am a big kid at heart and can happily make a fool of myself to entertain a child to put a smile on their face. Serious faces have their place in photography but I feel a good connection with a family can bring out the best personalities in them and this shows in the final photos. I want a family to feel relaxed and to enjoy their photoshoot which can be daunting for some whenever a large camera is pointing at them.
I enjoy shooting portraits of all kinds, whether it’s a beach maternity shoot or a corporate headshot in the studio. I can set up a temporary studio at your home or work, or even out on location. I have many years of experience with natural light and location lighting so can accommodate the needs of every style of shoot.
